Joyner has commented on Arms Control Law on the judgment rendered by the ICJ on 5 October 2016 in three cases brought by the Marshall Islands against nuclear weapons States (namely against India, Pakistan and the UK). Dan Joyner is Professor of Law at the University of Alabama School of Law and author of several monographs and articles on nonproliferation and nuclear disarmament issues, including International Law and the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction (OUP 2009), Interpreting the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (OUP 2011), and Iran’s Nuclear Program and International Law (OUP 2016).
