Our Expertise and Services
Economic integration is taking new directions at the bilateral, regional, interregional and multilateral levels. The negotiation and renegotiation of bilateral and multilateral trade and investment agreements, increasingly taking into account concerns related to transparency, human rights and sustainable development, require in-depth legal and policy expertise. International economic law experts of the PIL Advisory Group assist policymakers, negotiators, civil society and other stakeholders in the understanding and effective rulemaking process aiming at shaping the future of transnational investment and trade frameworks, through international instruments, soft law and practice.
PIL Advisory Group experts are also involved in investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS) as arbitrators and counsel.
