Pierre-Emmanuel Dupont was among the speakers at the fourth edition of the Global Classroom of the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation (EIUC) on “Intractable human rights situations and failed international responses to crises” which took place from 9 to 13 May 2016 at EIUC in Venice (Italy) and gathered professors and students from the seven Regional Master’s programme of the Global Campus taking place in five continents, international experts from the United Nations, and civil society organisations.

Pierre-Emmanuel spoke on “Human rights impacts of unilateral sanctions and mechanisms for remedies and redress” in his capacity as Legal Adviser to the UN Special Rapporteur on the negative impact of unilateral coercive measures.
